I wonder how the creator managed to get the film running steady in a tight loop? Also, it looks like a 16 mm print chopped and spliced to 35mm film factor. The pulsing in the back ground seems to be the "flashing letters" repeated off screen where the optical sound head would be.
I agree, the only Landow/Land films I've seen as of yet are this and "Remedial Reading Comprehension", and from what I've read about him, I'm itching to see more of his work...

The Harry Smith and 'Thanatopsis' entries are superb.
Here,they think they're clever. Not interesting art;simple offbeat novelty that runs too long.
