  • you dont get art like this anymore!

  • structural cinema!

  • I wonder how the creator managed to get the film running steady in a tight loop? Also, it looks like a 16 mm print chopped and spliced to 35mm film factor. The pulsing in the back ground seems to be the "flashing letters" repeated off screen where the optical sound head would be.

  • I agree, the only Landow/Land films I've seen as of yet are this and "Remedial Reading Comprehension", and from what I've read about him, I'm itching to see more of his work...

  • To be fair though, this isn't really the best environment to watch these films though is it?

  • Very good...

  • The penultimate expressionism of "deconstruction" theory: "the margin becomes the center, the center becomes the margin."

Unless you are into philosophy and cinema studies, you ain't gonna understand this film.

  • The Harry Smith and 'Thanatopsis' entries are superb.

Here, they think they're clever. Not interesting art;simple offbeat novelty that runs too long.

  • lol, its an experimental short movie. you right seems, sounds like that :)
