@ZribTurd It all depends on the sound you want from your guitar.

@ZribTurd I like both. I've been collecting (and, of course, playing) for about 35 years. Started out with Gibsons. LP's, Flying V's, Explorers, you name it. Bought a Strat in about '78, and the neck felt so foreign to me, I promptly sold it. As I began to get more into the blues, I took another look at Fender (among others), and Strats and Teles became my main guitar. Today, I use both Gibson and Fender guitars, and Fender and Marshall amps. Just depends on what sound you're looking for.

OMG, I want that guitar

I here his best sound ever from 5:02

@HarleyHawk1 ofcourse is strat a good guitar and it plays easy and good, but I would never put my LP on #2
-
I'd take an American Strat over a Les Paul any day.
-
Strats are as good as Les Pauls? seriously? I'd think it would make a difference whether you were going for a smoother or a crispier sound

@jammyjoyful WoW, i didn't know that. Because of all of the today craps, i don't even bother to look for other great artist who still follow the old way while trying to create great music to replace today crappy music. Thank you for pointed out my mistake. I'm a Vietnamese so please forgive me for my bad English and for being narrow-minded.
Clapton shows that strats are as good as les pauls... (I think strats are better anyway :D)
