[BF3] Trial and Error by BENBOBBY (SV98 CQC Sniping)

Im loving BF3 so far but have been kinda disappointed to see the majority of sniper videos so far just seem to be sticking with automatic sniper rifles such as the SVD or M39 or only using the bolt action rifles on hardcore servers! So I tried some close quarters sniping with the SV98 myself last night to see if it was possible and made a quick video... :)

Its obviously much harder than BC2 because of the reduced damage of the rifles, so have to be more accurate and cautious than before. As you will see Im still testing out various different scopes and sidearms to try and find the best combination at the moment.

However, Id say aggressive style bolt action sniping is still viable on BF3 and sufficiently helpful to the team. Will definitely take some practise to become more consistent though!

@wikiwikit Pretty low. I only use a 800 dpi mouse.

What sized server you play cause i find it impossible now days because some people are RIDICULOUS with machine guns.

@FallEditing I generally prefer smaller servers like 24 or 32 player as 64 player sometimes feels too chaotic when theres a load of nade and clay spam. Plus its nice to feel like you have more control over the outcome of the round with lower numbers :)

This is basically impossible on console. But I have to you have a talent sir. But you could basically use a semi, 1h1k in the head as well. For the lasersight. In increases the accuracy if you fire from the hip.

@wikiwikit Yeh console players are missing out tbh. If you can afford a decent PC Id definitely recommend it!

@BENBOBBY2 Yeah i find that too im playing on a neat 16 i think atm just like shipment (ive only been playing it recently when the price dropped) just need to know some nice servers haha nice videos btw been watching them after i posted that comment :) (+ you earned a sub)

Using laser sight purely for the hip accuracy or to blind people? i can see it being useful as you are moving around a lot and giving your position away doesn't matter much.
