KORG Kaossilator Crystal Jam

My most recent jam with the Kaossilator. I've had this gizmo for about a week and a half now and love it more every day.

This was done in one go, just started playing and everything came out as it came. No postprocessing, just straight line in to my computer and saved via Audacity.

TIP:

Hold down TAP/BPM and LOOP REC/PLAY, THEN flip the power on. Release after flipping the switch. After doing this you can enable 16-beat loops.

How did you record this? Straight into your computer or what? (I'm a dumb ass in this regard) I've had a kaossilater now for a few days, Ya-Hoo! Well done.

All you need is a standard 1/8" mono to stereo splitter. Run the stereo side out of your kaossilator and the other end into a line in on your PC, then I just recorded using Audacity.

cuz i want this thing but i was just wondering what other things i shud get with it. like the mini kaoss pad?

Yep, this is only the kaossilator. My roommate has a mini kaos pad and it is pretty cool with effects and such. I've seen a lot of people with kaossilator + mini kaos pad + kaos pad, and that setup kicks ass but is expensive. IMO the mini kaos pad itself doesn't add too much.
