Bok Tower is a carillon (bell) tower in Lake Wales, Florida. It holds the world's largest library of carillon music.
The Tower was built from 1927-1929, when it was dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge. It was built at the behest of Edward Bok and his wife, Mary. Edward Bok was a philanthropist and his wife the editor of Ladies' Home Journal.
The tower stands 205 feet tall and is built of Etowah marble from Georgia and Coquina stone from the Florida coast. It sits on the highest point in the state of Florida, Iron Mountain, at 298 feet above sea level. The gardens were begun previous to the tower and were originally 61 acres. Currently, they are over 130, much of which is nature preserve. Edward Bok died in 1930 and is buried at the base of the tower
