Demi's POV:

I was gliding on the ice. Skating was my passion, and it had always been. I had been taking tiny steps on the ice at 3, and never stopped. My sister was someone I have always looked up to in life, she had started skating at 3 and also never stopped.

Then there was the day-

A hard thud had landed on the ice, and there was crying, screaming, and the sound of the sirens on an ambulance.

Dallas had fell down and broke her ankle. She was crying, and I was sitting in the stands wondering-What was going on?


After that incident, when Dallas' heel was all fixed, she still didn't want to get back on the ice. One little twist-And there goes her future of being a Skating Starlet.

The twist had also changed Dallas physically forever. She could walk, but with a sort of limp, and could only run with much difficulty. People teased her.

I never stopped, though. After Dallas couldn't coach me anymore, she hired Kevin Jonas as my coach.

"Great job, Demi!" He said, as I skated to him. "Excellent."

I beamed. "Well, Demi, I'd like you to meet someone. He is my brother." Hmm...I wonder if he does skating?

A guy, either skinny as a stick or buff as a pro wrestler (Couldn't tell, he was wearing tons of goalie equipment) walked up. He stared at me, and his eyes flickered coldly.

Guess he didn't do skating, ice hockey was his sport.

He pulled of his mask and I saw his whole face, sweaty. He was kind of cute but rebel looking, like Joe Jonas of that band I hate, The Jonas Brothers. They think that they are so good-Playing music like that. (A/N No, I do not hate the Jonas Brothers, I LOVE THEM!!!THEY ROCK!!!! But I need this for this story!) "Joe Jonas." He said, putting his hand out.

Okay. So he was Joe Jonas. I shrugged and shook his hand. "Demi Lovato."

"What? You don't care that I'm a teen sensation?" He asked.

"No. Because that just means that you're a normal guy with a lot of paparazzi trailing behind you." I said. Kevin chuckled.

"Meh." Joe said lazily. "Yo! Kevin, why are we meeting again? I mean, what does skating have to do with hockey?"

"Tons." Said Kevin. "But I'm trying an experiment. Joe, you are teaching Demi to play hockey. Demi, you are teaching Joe to skate pro."

"WHAT?" We both said.

"Yeah, this girl who doesn't care I'm famous is my, my coach and student? For a million bucks an hour, okay, but not for FREE!!" Joe exclaimed.
What a poopyhead.

"Ahh too bad. Well, see you guys. Joe, since you saw the skating rink, show Demi the hockey rink."

"Meh." Joe said again. Loser.


*Joe's POV*

Well, I went with Demi to the hockey rink. "Hey, Joe! Did you bring a girl to kiss around?" I rolled my eyes. Kiss this girl? Even If she was pretty? No thanks. Actually, I think I might. Her hard to get personality kinda charmed me.

"No. I gotta teach her hockey." I grumbled. She looked far away. "Come on, let the chick try." "Okay."

Demi stepped on to the ice. My friends came at her, but she swerved that way and this way-Wow, she was good. She skated so fast, soon she was making a breakaway at Cody Linely, the other goalie.

Her aim was terrible, but it was so terrible that Cody couldn't predict it so it went into the net. Now I got Kevin's experiment-She was good at skating, which boosted up her hockey, but I would have to boost up her aim.

I whistled. Demi Lovato was going to be fun to work with.
