Actually we should be grateful that the Water Cycle is not corrupted to a great extend .. yet, to the point of no return ... for the Grand Party will begin when the 'fat lady starts singing' (the water starts leaving the biosphere). I truly hope not to be alive by that time, but as it goes we may become witnesses.

@U1T001 I don't think anyone is disputing we are on a long term warming trend globally. And also I agree with you it's the "avalanches" we have to worry about. I'm looking at the international news right and although I cannot understand Japanese I'm seeing some outrageous snow amounts, one shot a telephone booth was engulfed.

Which reminds me of what went on in Alaska last month down in the southern part of the state (freakish amounts of snow) and in the North (Barrow)
