  • I find it interesting that Palm Oil is allowed to be labeled as vegetable oil. Palm Oil is derived from the Palm Fruit! It's a fruit - not a vegetable......

  • Let's hope this gets done!

  • End Palm Oil today

  • today i was shopping and I looked at a lable and i was so happy to see that it actually said- Oils (Canola, Palm), Put that product doown and walked away

  • say no for oil, say no for Gold mining also :))

  • Like the video. Hate the fact that it had to be made.

Any progress since this was produced?

  • There are several issues here. Firstly, transparent product labeling so consumers know what they are buying and have the power to choose. Secondly, legal production of palm oil - pressure put on producing nations to prosecute illegal farmers and laws put in place to stop further land clearing and forest burning.

  • we started an enviromental group at our school to stop palm oil being used

  • Until now Ive been part of the problem, I know now what the massive consumption of palm oil is doing to the earth and our precious creatures. We need to get this problem to the people and get labeling for palm oil on all products containing it, and better still we need to make palm oil a dirty word and get is phased out of products all together. The only way to make corporations notice and change behavior is when it hits their bottom line.

  • pfft, i bet the orangutans would eat foods with palm oil

  • I wan't the choice. I think it's digusting that this is happpening and right under the noses of the goverments and companies. This should be the top order of priority at the Copenhagen Conference right now.
