@lapekoo I think you may have misunderstood. In a future hypothetical independent state, Scotland would have little or no actual production after oil stocks had been depleted. Banking and whiskey would not be able to support Scotland's current standard of living which, true, is higher than England's. Also, Scotland would have to assume a share of the current national debt, and the interest would be horrible. The current status quo is nice.. You can hate the English elsewhere, like Dublin.

I lol'd when you said that England (51 Million) depends on Scotland (five-million) Wales (3.1 million) and Ulster (1.7 million) That is adorable. The fact of the matter is that Scotland could potentially survive on it's own, but with a lower standard of living than England. Scotland would be waiting for a dip in oil prices or another banking crisis to wipe it out.

@lapekoo nobody any more refers to Britain as England and for the educated man Britain includes Scotland so they are being mentioned the only reason why you seem to think no body cares about Scotland is because you and the rest of the SNP fags have got it in your minds that Britain or the UK means England well it doesn't.

why would Scotland want to leave one of the largest military powers in the world and with its allies it is the largest. leaving the UK would kill Scotland.
