Neil Steinberg discusses his latest book, "Drunkard," his Chicago Sun-Times column and other topics at The Interview Show, hosted by Mark Bazer, at the Hideout on Dec. 5, 2008.
I don't appreciate the uppity reality show attitude that Mr. Steinberg has towards addiction. As I sip a Crown Royal on the rocks I can't imagine having a drink with him, nor a conversation at the gym - I take that back, I can probably talk to him at the gym about workout routines and netflix new releases. But please don't allow this man in a bar ever again.
Neil says, "I slapped my wife and she sent me to jail", and then he goes on to say that people assume that 'she's this battered woman'. In my book, a woman is considered a battered, even if she's ONLY been slapped ONCE. I can't believe he's trying to make light of his assault on his wife.
