Jet A1 jet engine fuel used in jet turbines is based on kerosene. Avgas used in conventional prop aircraft piston engines, is a high octane petroleum mixed with alkylate.
-
@Gnomleif Ahh right forgot about that :p
-
@Wildcatbball18 Not quite. Jet fuel is largely kerosene or naphta based, with some mixtures including gasoline. "High octane" race fuel is based on gasoline and different additives, and if you want to really push it they use ethanol and nitromethane in drag racing for instance.

This bike can also run on Diesel too.
So the only thing that holds you back is your money.

@gmgboy12 Jet Fuel and High Octane Racing Fuel is the same stuff bro!
-
gmgboy12,, jet fuel is basically race fuel..... My girlfriends father used to be a captain for American Airlines,, the high octane race fuels are the same s#@t!
-
the engine is from a helicopter which uses jet fuel... where can you find jet fuel on the street?
-
Watch the movie " torque " to see this bike in action!

@baverhojt well in my opinion the veyron looks like shit, but that's just because they've had to sacrifice the front styling to handle wind speeds at 400kph, considering this does 390kph i'd say it's a similar thing.
