This was my first attempt at making contacts on amateur radio satellite AO-51 utilizing a Baofeng UV-3R handheld transceiver I purchased for $60 USD. I was at home in my maidenhead grid EM21hs. Antenna was the Arrow II split-boom model dual-band yagi.
