That other guy was right underneath them. She must have gotten some of the acid on him too (although it was on a clothed section of his body, so it wouldn't have been as scarring).

@SuicidalMickeyMouse3 She splashed etching acid, which was used for developing photographs. So she basically splashed a pan full of acid in his face, which ate away at his skin and disfigured him.
