  • Dream Eater, despite running well against many of the world's best milers, always seems to find at least one in every race that's just too good for him. He's run more 2nd and 3rd place finishes than any miler I've seen. Ran well in the Queen Anne against Goldikova and Paco Boy. He ran really well in the 09' Bet365 Mile at Sandown. Finishing 2nd to Paco Boy. He ran well in this race, also. But just wasn't able to catch Pressing. Always a bridesmaid, and never bride. LOL.

  • I have a lot of respect for Pressing. What he may lack in talent, he makes up for with heart. He's a real blue-collar, workman like horse. That gives you 110% every time out. These days, I'd say Pressing's still a solid listed to G3 stakes level horse. But he's still unafraid to jump into G1-G2 level company on occasion. He usually doesn't win against the top milers he's faced. Like Paco Boy, Rio De La Plata, Good Ba Ba, or Able One. But he always gives a creditable accounting of himself. IMO.

  • Three straight years winning the Topkapi Trophy in Turkey for Pressing. 2008, 2009, and now again in 2010. Against very sold field's all three times. Pressing's not at the level of a Goldikova or a Paco Boy. But he is a quality racehorse. That more often than not always gives you a solid run. He's tough to beat from 8 to 8+ furlongs. I think Pressing's always a pretty good e/w bet in his races. Because of his consistency. JMO.
