the glaringly erroneous assumption is that you have to start from 0 mph, which was never explicitly stated or shown in the commercial. All he says is that "this lexus is will attempt to cover the same distance event faster" (in a matter of seconds). The mythbastards got it wrong...again!

@slekkis It doesn't matter how fast they were going, they shortened the distance of the car on the ground so that it would be equivalent, and they went 5 miles per hour above the target limit. Plus, the car from the air hit 5 seconds before the car on the ground even passed. you are a Mythbusters n00b

mythbusters screwed their experiment up bigtime, they never reached the top speed they used to calculate the distance they needed, for the reduced speed they we'r travelling at.. -.-

Doesn't matter if the car is an IS350 or not. . . If it can maintain close to 150 MPH then it will work in the experiment
