I totally agree with this idea of a retirement home for the musicians. This concept WILL be a success and I hope more people support it! Again, I say we MUST treat our musicians with the respect, honor and dignity they truly deserve! After all, what a magnificent gift they have given us!!!

Dignity, appreciation for the musicians and the arts must persevere...I agree it is vital that we promote the arts in schools and not cut the arts programs! What a major mistake for the future of the arts and the rich cultural heritage of Jazz. We must fight to keep the programs alive and treat our musicians with the respect and honor they deserve!!!! Bless you, Dr. Smith for reminding us.
