And I should add, not to be so wordy here, but that Saya Concept's music is just so damn cinematic. I'd love to do a film with them on the soundtrack.

Hi there. Why, you ask? Well, I guess I just love their sound. I think Mina and Daii are really talented. And being of Okinawan descent, I think the use of the sanshin in a modern context is really awesome...and not in a "folk revival" kind of way, but more like in a ethereal, haunting and completely 21st century kind of way. I only wish I could understand Japanese! Damn my 4th generation american upbringing! haha. just joking. Hope that answers your question.
