@whsskdhkf ok! i believe you've misread me from the start. i wasn't judging the form, i was meerly stating the quote. it has nothing to do with the floor and yes it does have to do with how you sink.
@micsir888 If he was failing to execute what you say on this comment about the force completely sinking down to the ground, he'd experience some serious feed back and suffer injuries. But he seems to be alive and kicking
@micsir888 All really depends on what kind of floor you're on. So i actually do think you have a point. If he's not on a solid ground but on a hollow wooden stage the sound would be louder. All other Chen village masters' stomps sound different according to different floors they're on. I noticed he sounds different in his other videos too even when it was same Xin Jia Yi Lu performed by Chen Zhenglei. It has nothing to do with actual skill.
@whsskdhkf It means what I mean it to say, being, If you stomp and the sound emitted echoes like an empty kart you are not all the way there yet. The force should follow through and once grounded it should be muffled somewhat by all that mass. The sound you want is deep and dull.
@micsir888 Although what you say is viable, sometimes full carts like to show off the things that's in the cart and your phrase is often used by the empty carts as an excuse for not having anything to show
a beautiful art being destroyed by 2 people arguing who is the best...highest level of martial art enlightenment not just from skill but also martial ethics "Wu Te"...take the example late GGM Chen Fake...=_='''

@camcom1p many good chen style practitioners stomp powerfully. An empty cart makes more noise than a full one.
