That a society could even debate the right of health care for every citizen regardless of age, status, income, race, employment etc. to be financed by the government is perhaps the finest example of a nation without a conscience, a moral compass. To label healthcare as a privilege for those who can afford it, which is soon to be less of the populous due to a continued rise in unemployment and decrease in wages, goes against basic principals of any healthy society - community and human decency.

Just as I am surprised that people think that they will be able to get their health care for free.
Now that is real stupidity!

I am a regular old american citizen...
Somehow people can't believe that REAL people are actually doing this on their own
Why does everyone need to be categorized by the left side of the aisle?
I am an AMERICAN CITIZEN who cares about my country. And I do not like seeing the way they are discarding our individual rights.
This health care bill is not about health or care .. it is about control. Government will decide what treatments you will get and you will be unable to sue them.

I'm never surprised by stupidity.

I was right next to you and over heard your conversation. You are correct they we're doing their best to insite anger in just about anyone they could.
-
And you're surprised some of the sign makers don't know the difference between "Who's" and "Whose"...?
-
It should read "Who's the racist" not "Whose".
I'm not sure why I'm helping you.

it is 43 seconds of my interaction with the 3 of them
It's pretty commonplace for the so-called homemade signs to have been made by a lobby or political campaign staff to pass out. The McCain campaign mass-produced those "homespun" signs like no tomorrow.

Although I don't agree w/ these protesters, it is good to see them do it in a respectful manner unlike what we've been seeing They allowed him to talk, walked towards the meeting, w/out screaming or chanting. Which had they would not have allowed others, as well as themselves, to listen and be educated.
