oh yeah i don't think i knew the parade existed till i woke up on Thanksgiving that year and the parade was nearing its end and i was like cool and the next year i watched it and last year and this year i'll watch it

I was there, just around the corner when you took this. I was a member of the Macy's Great American Marching Band. We were right in front of that balloon all the way down Central Park West and Broadway after the parade started. I may have the video of our performance posted soon, but nice work here. You can actually see what's going on.

Wow! great taping of the start! most peoples' personal tapings are crappy but yours is good! The picture is clear, you can hear the sound well- down to every direction the guy is giving to the crew. A++
