737 Frenchmans Road, Stanford, CA 94305
Mary Pope-Handy
Sereno Group Real Estate
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Hanna House was built in 1936 and for many years housed the provost of the university and his family. It was badly damaged in the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake (centered close to Los Gatos) and was closed for 10 years while funds were made to repair and restore the home. It is now open for tours 4 times per month. Sundays book up way in advance.

The home is sometimes referred to as the Hanna-Honeycomb House because the hexagonal shape is predominant throughout the home and yard.
