il2 torpedo attack

My fourth il2 movie!
An American squadron of 6 A20G's attack a Japanese fleet in a bay.
After the attack 6 Japanese zero's reach the A20's.

I had problems with Windows movie maker, and I had to make a part 1 and 2 from the movie and then put them together again.

V2_Guncam_New_Fire_3D_Ultimate_Smokes. for better fire
AircraftGroundAdditionalEffects, for better explosion and burning pieces and engine flame.
white curving smoke trail. for better looking tracer smoke trails.
Buffy Flaks. For the nice ship flak explosion at 0:43
OLC v2 water, for smaller, better waves
prop mod v4. for better looking propellors.

PLEASE....Would someone explain to me what is a mod? I just got IL-2 1946 and I love it! If there is a way to improve it any better, I would love to know. Thanks for your help.

@kevrachel1 a mod is a modifacation of the game, there is a fan/ mod community for il2: allaircraftsimulations com/forum/

To make mods work you'll need to patch the game to 4.08 then to 4.09 and then you can install a mod pack like U.P.2 or you can update the game to the newest version 4.10

hmmmmmmmmmmmm.... I don't know. The torpedo is in the stock loadout of the A20. it is on the botom of the list. I didn't use any torpedo mods.

Nice vid, but why didn't the Zeros use their cannons? That would have made mince-meat out of those A20's

well because there weren't a lot of A20's left I didn't want to destroy them in one or two passes.
