Unboxing Verizon's HTC Droid Eris

can somebody make a video on the extra stuff.

the eris kinda looks big on video. but my friend had on and it feels and looks really small. but not to small. just right. eris. =)

question does the droid eris have voice prompted search and navigation. if navigation not built in can you buy the Google earth navigation that comes on the Motorola droid. thanks for any comments.

Android 1.5, which is on the Droid Eris, doesn't come with the same features that is on the Moto Droid with android 2.0, which means no Google turn-by-turn navigation. But HTC plans on releasing android 2.0 for the Droid Eris sometime in the near future.

yes it does it has turn by turn navigation just like the moto droid, & it's enabled w| visual voicemail! Eris wins in my sight!

Opinion of someone who does not have either phone. I have been staring at both phones and the form factor of the eris is far superior. I think once the eris has android 2.0. there will be nothing but processing power to keep me looking at the Motorola droid.

the motorolla droid is alot heavier than the eris i am getting the eris because it is smaller and not as heavy

Which is better; Droid Eris or Motorolla droid?
