Peace, internal and external be it on an individual or at a worldwide collective level, is a must for Effective Human Progress and realistic Global Unity.

Peace perishes in the use of force or deceit or discrimination, based on race, language, colour and wealth. When peace is destroyed — no matter which side of the fence you are on — you are bound to lose. Upholding justice and human rights, eradicating poverty, as well as inculcating moral values based on our Creators Divine Guidance are a must for achieving World Peace. We cannot achieve effective world peace without good governance and morally sound human beings.

The conference will focus on presenting the proper understanding of Islam and its message of peace for the entire humanity in an effective and objective way as well as allay the misconceived fear and hatred towards Islam and Muslims worldwide. It would also create a better awareness and understanding of Islam as a just, righteous and peaceful way of life.

For people of all beliefs, this conference will be a learning opportunity to realize, reflect on and correct their misconceptions about Islam, in the light of talks by authoritative and renowned international speakers.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Russian physicist Alexander Friedmann and the Belgian cosmologist Georges Lemaitre theoretically calculated that the universe is in constant motion and that it is expanding.

"We expand the sky or the universe to a great extent." This is the very conclusion that science has reached today.

Until the dawn of the 20th century, the only view prevailing in the world of science was that "the universe has a constant nature and it has existed since infinite time." However, modern research, observations, and calculations carried out by means of modern technology have revealed that the universe in fact had a beginning and that it constantly "expands."

It is referring to space and the wider universe. Here again, the word is used with this meaning, stating that the universe "expands." The Arabic word "moosiaaoona" in the term "inna lamoosiaaoona," translated into English as "it is We Who are steadily expanding it", comes from the verb "evsea," meaning "to expand." The prefix "la" emphasises the following name or title and adds a sense of "to a great extent." This expression therefore means

and to the universe thing, not only the big bang but the Quran also states the universe expands. and that it has not been there from time immemorial (belief of earlier scientists) but had a beginning. i am copying the following from Harun Yahya's site:

And it is We Who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We Who are steadily expanding it. (Qur'an, 51:47)

The word "heaven," as stated in the verse above, is used in various places in the Qur'an.

the Quran is not a book of science but a book of signs. it is a book of guidance. Allah Speaks about science in more than 1000 of these signs (ayats). to let you know the truth.

and there are so many things there. if u know the theory of probability, it is impossible that a wild guess of a human being could be correct all the numerous times. and it is impossible for anyone to know them 1400 yrs ago when these things were not discovered and the scientists had some very funny ideas as well. and do you know the much technology, knowledge, math, and efforts of various scientists have brought about sci discoveries? how could the Prophet Sm know them before they were disc.?
