If I remember right, I think Anton thought it was the other man's child when it was in fact his own...
It took me three years to find this movie. But it's worth it. It's one of my favorites.

Well you are right and wrong. Anton got his ex pregnant. the old lady lied to him. it was at that point that he had to take on the sin of it.

In the movie Night Watch the guy goes to a women to get his ex back (whom is preg. by another man). The women then kills the ex's child for him so she'll come back. In the middle of the ritual the night watch comes for her and the man become apart of the night watch. Thats whats happening Deatonis.
