Smith home movies. 1.) Chuck Smith (my dad and namesake), young and dapper. 2.) Mom and Dad on their honeymoon. 3.) My older sister (and "boss") Janette. 4.) Then I (chuck, jr.) came along and ruined everything--notice Janette dragging me around until she discovered flowers growing in a hedge and I escaped. 5.) My younger brother, Jeff--always the congenial talker and companion. 6.) Our baby sister, Cheryl--with an insert of Dad chatting it up with Joanne Woodward on set while a movie was filmed in front of our church in Los Serranos, CA. 7.) Then a suitable place to end (circa 1965) with Dad giving Janette a peck on the cheek. Mom hated being filmed, and since I didn't have the family's permission to do this anyway, I thought it best not to include too many shots of her.
