  • Hey bro, I just flew a DA20-C1 for the 1st time today, I wish I would've years ago. One sweet airplane!Nice video.

  • @incheon

Glad you went up in the DA20. Its a great airplane. The earlier model DA20 A1 is also nice just not as much power compared to the C1. Its a fun airplane for short hops....heck even 1,000 miles is not that bad with a few stops along the way. Long XC is not bad doing solo. Drop a line if you have any questions. I sold the Diamond but she will always have a place in my heart. Now I'm trying to build Tail Wheel time, with more HP. Thanks again for your comment.

  • I maintained and flew 5 machines back in the day and was very comfortable taking my little boy cross country, an excellent machine two thumbs up!

  • @lavakava The reason it broke up in flight is because they for some unknown reason opened the canopy..

  • @JetlinerXPilotXFSX another popular training aircraft... never said it was the lowest stall speed

  • @anytimeradio Lol. Chill out man, I was being sarcastic. I also dont use FSX as a training tool, and I have about 38 hours in a Cessna. I was just kidding, no need to get all worked up.

  • @lavakava

Show me some proof on this mid air in flight break up. I'm getting sick of these armchair pilots. I have logged hundreds of hours in both Cessna's and Diamonds and maneuverability would go to Diamond first. Wing loading for each manufacture and airplane always varies. ....sigh....

  • @JetlinerXPilotXFSX

Really???? Is this when you are sitting behind your computer playing FSX? How many hours do you have in a Diamond DA20-C1 vs a Cessna?

  • @dfx961 A Cessna 172S has a lower stall speed bro ;)

  • @anytimeradio No, spithakos is right. He was asking you if touch and gos were similar to go-arounds, and I think you mis understood him, when you said taxi back etc. he corrected you and said that he was referencing more to a "canceled landing" (go around) and so I think you misunderstood eachother. In any case, yes, they are similar to go arounds, just you touch the ground in a touch and go, on a go around, you try not to touch the ground.

  • @anytimeradio he didn't mean that "touch and go" was incorrect. spithakos is not refuting that. rather, what you described in your reply to dublinmanc's comment is a stop and go. a go around is, in fact, what results when your approach is off and you have to "go around" to re-attempt the landing.
