@NateN34 nope not 3 years ,a cpu can go for as much as 5 years now,and a gfx card maybe 4 years if its top of the line,thats cause usually pple buy monitors with 1280x1028 max resolution,that does not require a good card,but they still buy cards way better than they need to run anything maxed at that resolution
hardware does get pretty good now but who cares,you don't need it,at all,even for gaming

Can you imagine that? only 3 years ago those were top devices and now it's total crap.

@drinkbudyXD Not if you want to stay with the games, then you have to get a new gfx card every year, and a cpu upgrade every 3 years or so.
