This video was shot in HDV 1080i with a Sony HVR-V1U from the seawall railing on the 700 block of Front Street, Lahaina, Maui. I started shooting December 10th around 2:40 HST and quit at about 6:25 HST. There was about 20 minutes of total inky black cloud cover from about 3:45 to 4:05ish and I ended up with 2 hours and 40 minutes of tape. I compressed the HD iMovie file with Quicktime into 4:3 using the crop feature. I reimported it into iMovie and edited in the fast forward and titling, and recompressed it with YouTube settings.
