To be fair, though, when he reprised the role for the Big Finish stories, he was voted by fans as the greatest audio Doctor. Good work, indeed, Colin.

It's a surprise Colin still talks about his tenure, let alone remembers it fondly.
I mean, he just happened to get his dream role when the series was in a rut, had at least half his stories viewed with disdain and only one at the most viewed with any nostalgia, suffered from a hateful eye by the BBC Controller (who was screwing his ex-wife), got a planned run longer than any previous Doctor cut into a paltry 2 years, found out his son died of SIDS...

@Doctor31074 I think Colin Baker acw as he was in Blake's Seven as Bayban in the episode City at the Edge of the World in my view should have played Blake in Blake's Seven insted of Gareth Thomas who walked out foolishly in billions of ways.

CCOlin Baker was excellent in Blake's seven as Bayban, he should in my opinion have played Blake instead of Gareth Thomas who had no staying power like Colin Baker has got.
