are you sure? I haven't really heard anywhere. I know there's 16 on the UK show, but they've got like 12 or 13 weeks of live shows, and I know there are only like 9 weeks of live shows in the US, for this season at least, so I'm thinking its only gonna be 12...to have 1 person eliminated each week with 3 for the finale. I can't imagine how they could make 16 work.

you need to check out the UK version of X Factor they are a month or so ahead but you should see the acts they are so much better than the American talent

The UK version has acts that are better than the US version???? Perhaps each side of the pond sees good things in the other side. Alternatively, it's been running for so long over here (or at least it seems that way - I like it by the way, despite saying that), that now this new US series has started, it comes across as new and revamped (although same format). It's just somehow more like a new expensive glossy magazine, compared to our well read old rag (ok, being a little harsh!)
