@lotten1992 Cut your sister some slack.

oh irony of irony, I can't understand a word they are saying, not Mr Fry's lovely warm tones, thou, i think it's the recording, and the fact that this work PC has a really crap speaker in it.

@lorainedelaney bbc iplayer is only available to peeps with a UK IP Address, it's funny cuz when they announced cuts to the world service (radio), there where 1000's of ppl around the world who said they would gladly pay for it. The BBC is about one of the only outlets that make output for adults, everywhere else to increase their appeal seem to aim at 2 year olds, the same on the internet, and I am not saying that as a snooty brit, sometimes u don't want every minute detail explained to u.

@lorainedelaney haha ^^ i can't! >.< We don't have BBC in sweden :/ and it'll take 'em months to subtitle it and air it here. Gonna see if it's possible to stream, if so i'll have to change my ip adress...but worth it ! :D

@MrNegativeMrPositive Hee hee! Oops, I think I'm having a moment of schadenfreude here. I'm really not that evil. Maybe, if the Gods are smiling on you, you can watch it on BBC. Check it out!

@MrNegativeMrPositive Apparently this has been in the making for about a year, so I suppose there's lots to see. If you like Stephen Fry, my best suggestion would be to look up on Youtube. I couldn't paste the link but type in 'Stephen Fry cameo in Irish television' and there is a clip of him in a local soap opera speaking in Irish, yay! Of course, he'll be discussing Joyce, Yeats and Wilde in Ireland too;)

@MrNegativeMrPositive I know, it's a bit of a stretch! I'm not an expert, but from personal experience I found that as I learned a language, it helped each time I tried a new language, I could use the words I knew already to help me remember. And so, even with a minority language, I have found it almost comforting to find that link. I have just watched this programme tonight and it deals with the beginnings of language etc. Next week Stephen comes to Ireland to speak Irish!;)
