Whoever Imusho is, he has no direct knowledge of the relationship between Jack Kuykendall and Moe Norman. Moe did not invent single axis golf. Moe was my friend and the world's greatest ball striker. Mow, however did not have a clue about the mechanics he performed and why they worked. There have been many single axis player over the years. Moe jus happened to be the best. Before you post, you have some knowledge.

Umm... yea Moe invented the single plane golf swing. Get it right. im tired of everyone turning Moe's talent into making money.

NOBODY invented the single plain system.Many new golfers will actually hit the ball on a single plain system before some one tells them its wrong or a golf pro changes their swing.Just watch older amatures play at your local club.

HOWEVER Moe never changed and developed his swing instead of changing it.He was a genius.He is the best striker ever and just plain makes it look easy.

I'm a self taught moe convert after not happy with the consistecy of the conventional method.Hit fairways 99% now.

@kuygolf This is not correct. Moe had an excellent understanding how his "mechanics" worked for him, "single axis" swing or not. Golf is a subjective art, not something completely empirical and objective. Moe understood this better than most. He understood his swing, not yours. That is why he was a great player and you aren't.

The debate between one-plane and two-plane needs to stop. There's two planes, period. This is because you have two things to pivot around--your right leg going back, and your left leg going through. What Moe, Hogan, Knudson and others did was bring those planes very close together. But it's not a "single axis." But it's true that having those two planes that close together is a terrific way to hit a golf ball!

interesting video. but I gotta agree with bigbrova, jack, you did not invent the single plane swing. You may have articulated the theory of the swing, but people have done it for a long time, and without you telling them about it.

don't mistake naming something for creating something.

That's like saying einstein invented relativity. He didn't. That said, single plane/no twisting is a great way to hit a ball!!! now, if people would just start thinking about a proper grip...

Moe did not bend his left arm on the backswing as advocated by Kuykendall. Todd Graves "little Moe" teaches Moe's swing.

Single axis golf was invented by the Ohrn family in Chicago. Kuykendall learned it from them. Give credit where credit is due.
