this clip shows what can happen to a pristine river when there is no consideration given to the preservation of a cold water fishery. a hurricane necessitated quick "repairs" to the river - but what actually happened will take years to undo. the first slide shows a beautiful habitat for fish, fowl and humans. i'll let you decide the suitability of the aftermath.
fortunately Trout Unlimited and concerned citizens are reacting. there will be accountability. it will take years to undo the destruction, but let the process begin. fortunately there are groups that care about the Deerfield River Watershed.
