As Berlusconi's minister, Frattini knows best about high-level corruption. Pretty typical for the EU to make the fox guard the henhouse!

Italy is that last country in the world that should criticize someone about corruption.

An Italian lecturing us on corruption. lol. A politician lecturing other politicians on corruption. LOL. An MEP lecturing other MEPs on corruption. TEARSOFLOL. Where are the judiciary in all this? They are not doing their job. No media, no law, what do we expect? We are barking up the wrong tree attacking the politicians.

...and certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? .... Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly...

@capotribu they don't compare.... I mean, yeah, Italy has a lot of problems, but it has had over 60 years of democracy and has been in the EU; Romania and Bulgaria have had democracy for only 20 years and before that, ruthless communism for 2.5 times more time; the level and the very nature of the corruption in the 2 east-european states and in italy cannot be similar

Angelos Giannakopoulos, coordinator of the study "Crime and Culture - relevant perceptions corruption to crime prevention " (CE study):
“For Romania one can speak of a generalized culture of corruption. Citizens consider corruption as a normal way to solve things. This way of thinking and doing is deeply rooted in moral attitudes, conceptual and practical of everyday life.”Romanians have the perception of a kind " mafiot whole " above the law
What an hypocrite douche bag....purposely omitting the high level of corruption in Italy by diverting the attention to Romania and Bulgaria
