It's the only car that you can get for less than ten grand that can be built in a single day by hand. You talk crap about it, and roughly 1.5 billion people, alot of beetles are out there, will eat you.

actually they stopped selling the sedans here in 1978 and the convertibles in 1979.

@salamonetalton Actually, I drive my 77 beetle daily. It has a catylitic converter. I think they stopped selling it here for safety reasons not smog reasons.

they stopped selling them over here after 77 after the dumb catylic converters were introduced but still made them until the late 90's in mexico.

Amo a Volkswagen y a los Escarabajos, y está entre mis planes tener uno, eso si, después de un Mercedes-Benz W124. Ahora mismo tengo un VW Golf de 4ta generación.

@Shredderman35 WRONG, The Commercial is MEXICAN and the beetle stopped in Brazil in 1996. The beetle stopped in Mexico in 2004. also there was an special run called "last edition" (ultima edicion). Besides, in the commercial they are speaking Mexican Spanish. in Brazil they speak Portuguese
