VIS 70N Video Project "---ing"

"---ing" is a video project produced for our VIS70N class at UCSD that addresses the issue of suicides in the United States due to a growing sense of ennui (Ahn-wee) and depression in our society through the metaphor of consumerist and technological objects as humans. The exponential rate at which our society is advancing has made it difficult for technologies and people alike, to find meaning and purpose. This film seeks to reveal that our society is becoming desensitized to the issue of suicides and has stopped questioning why they are occurring.
