Composer: Yann Tiersen
Title: Comptine d'un Autre Ete: L'Apres Midi
Well, finally, my first video of a brand new series. This piece has a really great sentimental value for me, as it is the piece because of which I started playing piano in the first place, and that's why I recorded it first. It is not flawless, actually I'm not quite satisfied with the outcome, but the process of recording is so complicated that I decided to put up this version now, and maybe a better version in the future. If you want the music sheet, just e-mail me:)
Enjoy:)
How do make it legato?
when i use the pedal the notes clash :/

@Tzi1995 you have to be gentle with both the keys and the pedal. Pedal should be let go after every bar and pressed immediately after that. Do you have a piano or a keyboard/electric piano? If it's the second one, make sure you have a half-pedal option available, without it it might be quite tough to get a good legato. The pedal should be pressed gently, not all the way down. And as for hitting the notes, you can't hit them too hard or they will inevitably clash. Hope this helps :)

This video is amazing. I actually am trying to teach myself piano... Just started like a month ago. This piece was amazing. Thank you for that beauty to my ears. I cant wait to listen to more of your playing.

The first song I've ever learned... give it a try if you haven't already. It's quite easy, though I must admit it took me quite a while to learn it - when you're not used to playing it seems hard.
If you want any tips on playing, don't hesitate to ask, I will be glad to help :)
And thanks for the kind comment :D Haven't had one in a while, it's a nice surprise. I think the requiem for a dream theme is the best one here. And stay tuned for more, and better, blues videos.
