I strongly urge China and other Asian nations to use the satellites that you have used 24 hours per day for 2 years to create a comprehensive report to the UN General Assembly. I also suggest that President Hu Jin-Tao speak about this issue at the State Visit to reporters (not behind closed doors as it will get nowhere) or have a Chinese reporter ask a question about a presentation before the United Nations, and comment subtly, about preparations without totally tipping your hand. if simply look at Hongkong and shanghai, u may think china is already well-developed country! if simply look at the rural village in china, u may think china is even poorer than african ccountries! china is land of contrasts!

well, it all depends of with class are you travelling in.
Go to 3rd class like I did in most of my trips and you'll see really creepy stuff.

Hey, LOVE your video! I have a question, where exactly in Guangxi are those rice fields? I plan on going through there when I go to asia and would LOVE to see that. Please let me know, and additional thoughts are welcome.

The spot is known as "Dragon's Backbone Terraced Fields". It's neverby the touristy Ping'an Village,3-4 hours bus ride from Guilin in Guangxi province. Don't expect it to be as idilic as in the video, since China's destinations have become massively overcrowded in recent years. Nevertheless, it's worth the ride. Have a good trip!

China is not only Hong Kong and Shanghai. Chinese are proud of their development, and very very ashamed of their poverty. I can show concrete and buildings from anywhere worldwide, but "rural village in China" as your wrote is unique of China, as it could be of any other country. Don´t be ashamed! China is a great country. And please understand that westerners and japanese, we all are fed up with urban life...

The chronological swing between images and their positions in the map are not exact since in 10 mins. i can´t afford spending time in that. It´s just to give a general view of it all, besides, i took it out of a whole-Asia map i drawed just based in my memory, so i guess after all it could have been much worse. Thank you for the comment.
