YOU DON'T SEE MANY FERRARI'S AROUND THESE PARTS SO WHEN I SAW THIS ONE AT A CAR SHOW I COULDN'T RESIST TAPING IT. ( I APOLOGIZE, IT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO ME THAT THIS FERRARI IS A REPLICA OR KIT CAR AND NOT A FACTORY DINO. ) ALTHOUGH I HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN 20 MINUTES WITH NO ONE AROUND IT SO I COULD TAPE IT. YOU WILL SEE MOUNTED IN THE REAR A 2.4 LITRE DOHC, 12 VALVE V-6 ENGINE THAT GETS DIRECTION FROM A FIVE SPEED MANUAL TRANNY. THE ONLY COLORS THAT THIS FERRARI CAME IN WERE BLACK, YELLOW AND RED. THE MAX SPEED ACHIEVED IS 141 MPH AND CAN GO FROM 0 - 60 IN 7 1/2 SECONDS. IN 1973 THIS CAR SOLD FOR $ 13,900, A PRICEY SUM BACK THEN. BUT HOLD ON TO YOUR RACING GOGGLES, THE VALUE OF THIS CAR TODAY DEPENDING ON CONDITION, MILEAGE, ETC., IS BETWEEN $78,400 AND $140,100. IMAGINE IF YOU OR I HAD BOUGHT ONE OF THESE IN '73, KEPT IT IN GOOD LOW MILEAGE CONDITION, AND SOLD IT TODAY FOR 140 THOUSAND $. BETTER INVESTMENT THAN GOLD. ANYWAY, ENJOY THIS VIDEO OF THIS FERRARI REPLICA AND MANY THANKS FOR VIEWING.

  • réplica da dino, reprodução da dino, dino's clone, seria o título adequado do vídeo.

  • @observadorcob02 Translation: Replica of Ferrari Dino would be a better title. I agree. I've been planning to change this title, so thanks for motivating me.

  • @55lincoln thank you. I live Lagoa, Rio, and I have a red fibrario dimo 246 gt 1984, nº 003, since july 1985, with 20.000km, a clone's dino with a litle motor VW Passat, 1,6L. If you travel to Brasil, you would see.

  • @observadorcob02 Sounds like you have a wonderful Dino with an impressive engine. Thanks for your contribution to this video.

  • Oh, one last thing the real Ferrari Dino, has a more down sloping, and rounded windshield,

compared to this, and other Ferrari replicas, other Ferrari models 308,328, etc. also have

    rounded sloped windshield.(your very welcome)

  • @hulk78301 Thank you very much again.

  • @hulk78301 I'm glad you described this replica since I was fooled from day one that this was a genuine Ferrari having never seen one close up here in the midwest. Thanks so much for all of this info for it's appreciated.

  • @hulk78301 I agree with you on all of what you say. I think viewers including myself were under the impression that this was the real thing and were disappointed to see otherwise. In fact, this replica here was stated at a car show to be authentic when it wasn't. But I'm glad you stated the case for replicas for there is a lot to be said for replicas if they have authentic parts, etc. Thanks for cheering for the replica, you are the first one to say so in all of my videos.

  • That appears to be a Magnum Gt dino replica, one of the more authentic replicas that were available for a short time, used either VW floorpan rear engine, or tube frame midengine setup, usually wrong wheel and tires, incorrect interior layout, and lack of chorme in certain areas (at least on dino) are giveaways to it being a replica, best to compare to photos/scale models of real thing.

  • There,s nothing wrong with replicas if there done right, make it exact as possible, use real authentic parts if possible,or engine parts, etc. that nearly duplicate real thing, for less money to run, cheaper to service, fiberglass won,t rust/corrode, though there are some bad looking replicas out there, and replicas of course are usually not worth what the real thing is.
