The Viki Robot, conceived and realized together with Henrik Hautop Lund, that won the Humanoids Free Style World Championship in Fukuoka , Japan, 2002. 12 humanoids, of 25 cm. height, built from scratch (involving development in electronic hardware, material hardware, mechanics, software, etc.) by following what a 'minimal requirement approach' (a bottom-up approach where we look at the minimal requirements for achieving specific behaviours, and build the electronic hardware, material, software, etc. accordingly). Hence, it was obtained humanoid robots that are orders of magnitude cheaper than the most well known recent humanoid robots, such as the ones from Honda, SONY, and Fujitsu. The Viki Robots were shown in Fukuoka dancing all together the famous "Don't worry, be happy" tune (by Bob Mc Ferry). They were the first example of dancing humanoids, too.
