Back when I first started playing, I would've been inclined to agree with you but that changed when I started recording. I use the band typically when recording because I have really hot/noisy pickups. The noise is there regardless of compression or how much I gate my sound. You can even hear when I barely move my picking hand around the strings. Great Howe has done it, Guthrie Govan has done it, Jennifer Batten does it, MAB does it, and the list goes on. I only use it when recording something.

I just download the video.Then i play it with vlc media player at whatever speed i want.Mabe consider thinking outside the box and seeking tools taht are free and on the web.I also do a lot of play and pause to get it in the way my brain learns best.Everyone learns diffrent just find the tools you need to learn your craft because they are out there.

I Hear ya Bro,Sounds Sick and for some People it seems impossible,But it does take alot of Practice when you have had a certain style of Picking and Playing your whole Life,It does become a challenge to many Guitarist.But thanks Bro for the Show!!!! Keep'em coming!!!!!!
