I love the shy little smiles he gives after each bit he sings. His parents in the audience? Gorgeous.

Daniel sang the solo beautifully. He captured the innocence Bernstein intended for the part brilliantly. Literally brought tears to my eyes... Bravo!

@pila406 Personally, I sand this solo a few years ago and I think he does a wonderful job capturing the words of David in the 23rd Psalm...The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want.

This young man's voice is just lovely and I don't know what the few complaints are all about. He may be "untrained" (I can't say since I'm not an expert) but he certainly has a natural talent. I enjoyed his performance very much and hope he continues to sing to this day--that would make him about 15 now. Just wonderful! Let us not forget that this is a very difficult piece of music. My high school choir did this over 35 years ago; it was very challenging!

This child is hands-down the best soprano I have ever heard do this piece. Ever. He is so natural and strong and heartfelt.

清澈的嗓音,很好,很自然。

Love his voice, absolutely gorgeous! My fravouritist treble solo of that yet!

@geriberi16 That's what I thought right from the start. He's perfect. The other ones I saw are very mannered and stiff.
-
@AbochRoxx I totally agree. It seems that his natural , untrained voice captures the innocence.

This boy sings with more understanding.

Brilliant performance....5 stars!

His vowels are the correct due to he know and speak Hebrew regularly [He is Israeli just as I am].
But the overall performance is not refined. It doesn't seem that he understand the meaning of the words he sing...too weak in my opinion, but it is only my opinion.
Dear geriberi16,
Thanks for your lovely comment. There's in fact an even better sounding recording from the Abu Gosh church, from a performance which took place a few days late, which is currently being encoded and will be uploaded shortly.
Thanks again!
