Gargamel at Harrys Gym Studio December 2007

Norwegian rock band Gargamel just started recording their second album at Harrys Gym Studio in Oslo. He´s some clips from the frist couple of days. They are playing live in the studio.

Ohh... that´s the top of a Leslie cabinet, the organ amp. You haven´t heard of a leslie? The rotating horn is a big part of the classic organ sound. Here it is in the slow mode, just giving a little modulation, and then you push a button and it goes fast, and then you get a very cool doppler effect, it´s a chorus type of thing, but unique sounding.
