A skydive costs in the region of £15-£20 (once you've got your licence) and gives you 50 to 55 seconds of freefall, with an hour or so wait ('chute descent, 'plane ride back up) in-between each go. Airkix gives you 120 seconds of freefall for between £20 and £30, with a 2-4 minute wait for your next turn. You also can't jump in the dark, or the rain or snow, etc etc. So, real jumps definitely not cheaper, and considerably less convenient too.

There's definitely a lot less room in the tunnel than there is in the sky... tunnel-flyers tend to have very good positional control :)

By the way, I flew last night too - at half past nine. What time were you there?
