Rare footage of the Samurai and an interview with lead singer Miki Curtis (lookout for Tetsu Yamauchi on bass) The Move's Carl Wayne plays the innocent Brumie whilst explaining away the explosions and smoke bombs which brought the festival to an abrupt end,several days early ! Also watch out for Richard Thompson being interviewed,enjoy this little blast from the past !

Yes,they played,just before captain Beefheart & the magic band.This interview was filmed for English TV,But they also appeared on Italian TV in black and white,miming their 45.

I would love to see that !!!

At 1:02 seconds in that's Tetsu Yamauchi (bass) in the middle with his trademark mustache and Yujin Harada (drummer) on the right. Miki Curtis was a great front man for this band. Before I met them in Japan around 1970. Good memories. Thanks for posting.
