Yeah, but Daitarn 3 is 120 meters tall. For comparison, Mazinkaiser is 28 meters. In Alpha 1, Mazinkaiser's sprites were bigger than Daitarn 3's.

Makes you think for a second.

But yeah, Z's graphics are super mega hyper combo edition AWESOME. They even have subtle differences between sprites from different series! AND they're obviously different size! It's perfect!

I wonder what the 3DS SRW sprites will be like. In 3D. OoooOOooOoo.

  • @Finnishiam not every sprite needs to be huge. In fact, one thing I really like about Z is that the sprites are more or less to some kind of scale with each other.

  • @Kouban

No, the sprites for Daitarn 3 in Alpha Gaiden are completely different from Alpha 1.

In fact, they probably were the worst sprites and animations for any protagonist unit in the whole game, which is probably why these new sprites were made. The original ones weren't even huge!

  • @90sHeroMAXD Actually, this sprite, like most of them in AG, was reused from Alpha.

  • So basically the sprite originated from this game, carried onto impact which Carried onto A portable. LOL
