LV Hiryu MUGEN #8: Kendo & Kyudo - AI Patched (Grudge Match)

Strider Hiryu is about to face his next opponent(s). Big Bang Beat's Kendo & Kyudo by Kayui Uma are an intriguing pair. Kendo does most of the fighting while Kyudo acts as a striker of sorts, and a very dangerous one. However, now that they are AI patched, these two are even more strenuous to fight than ever as Kendo is extremely agressive and will try to pummel you with combos for heavy damage, all the while Kyudo strikes at unpredictable times to get you off your game and/or stop your attacks cold with hers.

Before I get to the fight details, I bet some of you may be wondering why this match is a "Grudge Match?" It's actually quite simple. Who still remembers the first LHK Tournament that is now voided? I most certainly do, but I particularly remember the second round in which I got eliminated by ChiakiKakumei123's Maiden Cross where Kendo & Kyudo dominated my team, but Hiryu got the worst of it. If you remember, K & K (mostly Kendo, obviously) completely decimated Hiryu without him laying even a single finger on her. Payback and retribution have been stemmed from that battle for a long time, and only now, the time was right to return the favor. So here we are, front and center as Strider Hiryu finally avenges his truly humiliating defeat by Kendo's and Kyudo's collective hands.

The fight was VERY quick in my eyes. The attack pattern for Kendo is extremely similar to another fighter Hiryu faced in the past. In other words, she attacks like MVC2 Mai in the aggression department. So all I did is do what I did to MVC2 Mai and use it on Kendo. Simply put, I used her own aggression against her. I just simply wait for an opening in her attack and let loose all my fury. However, one missed stroke can spell my doom. Fortunately for me, that never occurred, and I decimated her as she decimated me those all those months ago. So blah, blah, blah, "revenge". Blah, blah, blah, "dish being cold." And all that crap that goes with an overstated quote. Enjoy.

Well, the match was somewhat easy since I'm used to the MvC style of fighting and it was perfect against a fighter of her particular fighting style.

As for the aftermath, I still need several fighters and stages for this to work, not to mention I have to learn a few things. So for now, that's all I got.
