  • yeah he may seem cool and all behind this kit, but put him behind a 5 piece with 2 crashes and a ride and he wouldn't be too impressive

  • @54drexhead wat are you talking about

  • I'd love the hear the soundtrack in this guy's head. Only thing I'm not liking is how clustered some of the cymbals are because the sound is stiffled and they aren't able to really crash so he might was well be hitting trashcan lids. Overall though it's impressive how he has pretty much every note that would normally be found in a guitar, piano, or brass instrument.

  • @54drexhead I do not think you understand what point terry is trying to get across.

  • If you'd watch him explaining this, half are tunes chromatically and have diatonic, he has a kit that size not just for groove but to make whole music out of drums which most artists don't.

  • drum sets that size, and drum SOLOING in general are retarded and masturbatory .. But is it really necessary to have a kit that size?? drum soloing is so retarded. THE POWER IS IN THE GROOVE. you dont need 8 bass drums to get your point across

  • Hmmm...I think it's brilliant.

  • hear a lot of sticks hitting, must not be that good.

  • Haters, yes this is not traditional wind-up and go type soloing. It reminds me of James telling Lars during Some Kind of Monster ,"I'm used to the drummer doing the beat part... holding it together." Terry seems no longer interested in that type of drumming or else he'd have a couple crash cymbals that didn't start with the word "China"

If you are unconvinced at his ability, watch the younger Terry play with Zappa.

Zappa you say, yes dude is 62.
