I don't believe that this looks like the 1920s. I hope someone was fired over this blunder.

is this a christmas song? i think so

@whitenuts000 Well the movie is supposed to span over time, so the imagery is supposed to change from say 1950s England into 1970s England. Based off the timeline, this scene should be around 1951-1952

merry christmas !

@Burgerfanny : Actually, he was only playing a "problem drinker", so he had to sober up some for the part.

Has anybody ever made looking dissipated as hot as Ann Margaret?

The late great Ken Russell at his very best with fantastic movie. Rest in peace, Ken.

Preferisco ricordarti così, mio caro vecchio "amico" Ken...Addio...R.I.P.

The movie was made in the 70s where as the album was made in 1969.

@rogan71 Well, that was also back before pitch correction so singers had to rely on their own talents. Also, it's worth noting that vocals weren't what made people like bands, it was message and instrumentation...something today's bands can't quite grasp. Besides all that, I think he was supposed to sound a little off. He is playing a drunk; ever seen one in karaoke? XD
Oliver Reed playing a drunk? Must have been quite a reach for him.
